Reservoir of Excellence: CLM New Month Message June 2026

Jesus, on the final day of the Feast of Tabernacles, emphatically cried out to the crowd that those who believed in Him would have “rivers of living water” flowing from their innermost being. He was not merely speaking about satisfying immediate thirst or temporary relevance — He was revealing a reservoir of excellence.

The Feast of Tabernacles highlighted the water-drawing and light ceremonies, symbolizing how God sheltered the Israelites in booths after delivering them from Egypt and sustained them throughout the wilderness journey (Leviticus 23:33–43).

However, Jesus pointed to a greater and more lasting sustenance and shelter. Through Him, the Holy Spirit was given to every believer. The Holy Spirit, as a reservoir of excellence, is endless, unrivaled, unstoppable, incorruptible, and unquenchable.

In this new month, let us embrace this reservoir of excellence deposited in us without measure. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we have been regenerated to live excellently, joyfully, kindly, productively, victoriously, righteously, and eternally (Titus 3:4–7).

“On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, ‘Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, “Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.”’

(When He said “living water,” He was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in Him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into His glory.)
