Radiance from Chaos

Recently, I was on a boat ride with friends on Lewisville Lake, Texas. It is an artificial reservoir located on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River in Denton County. The lake’s expansion was completed in the mid-1950s by engineers working to control devastating floods in what was once an empty, flood-threatened valley. Today, it stands as a crown jewel of the North Texas suburbs—a thriving body of water surrounded by 233 miles of shoreline and a multifaceted hub connecting 15 cities with multiple tourist attractions.

The engineers truly created radiance from chaos.

Just as human engineers can transform a desolate wasteland into a thriving lake and a multifaceted source of economic value, God can take a seemingly chaotic season in our lives and create from it a resplendent vista of unrivaled excellence.

If God was willing to pay the ultimate price for the sins of a world that did not want Him, He can certainly create radiance from your chaos (Rom. 5:6–8; Rom. 8:32).

Our Father is constantly in the business of bringing order, beauty, and purpose out of difficult times, and this upcoming new month will be no different.

Brace yourself for impact. Open your mind to His excellence, and position yourself as a channel of God’s freshness and goodness. Be prepared for His unlimited glory to be expressed through your life.

Christ in you is the hope of God’s radiance emerging from chaos (Col. 1:27b).

Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Isaiah 61:7 (NLT)

Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.

I look forward to a new month full of testimonies, divine surprises, and unmistakable expressions of God’s goodness in your life.

Happy New Month!
