The Child, The King The Father: CLM New Month Message December 2025

The Child, the King, the Father — in one sacred breath, Isaiah 9:6 whispers the wonder of our Lord. A Child in a manger, yet a King robed in glory; innocent as dawn, yet mighty as eternity. Such a mystery rests beyond the reach of ordinary thought, yet it draws our hearts with holy awe.

Even the gifts laid before Him by distant travelers (Magi from the East) spoke this silent truth (Matthew 2:1-12):

Gold for the King of heaven and earth.
Frankincense for the God whose fragrance fills the sanctuary.
Myrrh for the Lamb who would give His life for ours.

In this season of lights and laughter, may our eyes not drift from the radiance of Christ Himself — the Child who came near, the King who reigns forever, the Father whose love knows no end.

As we step into this new month, the Wonderful Counselor guides us, the Mighty God strengthens us, the Everlasting Father embraces us, and the Prince of Peace surrounds us. For He who lives in us also reigns through us.

And so, we hold fast to the promise of Scripture:

Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)
For to us a child is born,
 to us a son is given,
 and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
 Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
 Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

I pray this truth fills our hearts with awe and hope, and  the Child, the King, the Father — who was born for us, reigns over us, and lives within us — guides every step we take into this new month and beyond.
