Lights On!: CLM New Month Message August 2025

In boarding school, we had “lights out” every night. At “lights out,” every student was expected to be in bed. Failure to adhere to the rule came with serious consequences, because at “lights out,” all student activity was expected to come to a full halt.

In contrast, we had “lights on” every other hour of the day, when life happened. That was when all student activity took place: movement, learning, growth.

As believers, our divine nature mirrors that Lights On season, when God’s power, presence, and purpose are fully active in our lives. But here’s the difference: our Lights On season never ends. There’s no darkness, no interruption.

    ”The divine connection we have with Heaven stays switched on — always flowing, always glowing.”

We are the children of light.
We are the light of the world.

In this new month, I want us to keep our lights on.
I want us to have our divine antennas constantly tuned to Heaven’s frequency.
I want us to shine!

Our lights are on, and we will radiate God’s glory.
