Visiting Day – July 2024 Lifeline

As a young child in boarding school, I looked forward to visiting day. On visiting day, my parents would come with all the material and emotional replenishment that I needed. Visiting day was a day filled with fanfare and pomp. It was a day all boarding school students alike, looking forward to fellowship with their family, received the needed succor to continue the sometimes “dreary” experience of boarding school.

As the Lord’s children, every day is our visiting day with God. We have come to our rest. We have come to hope. We have come to a bountiful harvest. We have come to a place of protection and strength. We have come to a city of saints where we are perfect. We have come to material and emotional replenishment. We have come to oneness with Jesus our Saviour and Lifeline!

Romans 8:31-32 (NLT)

31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 

32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?

This new month, we shall experience God’s visiting day in immense dimensions as never before because you are not an abandoned project. God is doing wonders in your life!

or their children begging for bread.

The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear.

What can mere people do to me?
