Turn on The Lights Everywhere

Anytime I take a trip, I turn off the lights in my apartment. Although power is fully present in my apartment, there is no sign of life whenever I turn off the lights. I have also driven through highways and streets in different cities and I can tell the remarkable difference between the roads or streets that are dark or well lit at night. Naturally, life and beauty come with light. Illumination makes it easier to appreciate the details of life. Groping in the dark is not a fun exercise.

Just as the presence of light shows the presence of life in our houses and beauty to our streets and ease to navigate our highways, so does the illumination of God’s word bring life to our being, beauty to our day and ease to navigate the world.

To live an all-round successful life this month, we must turn on the lights everywhere. Please, let’s allow the light of the word of Christ take pre-eminence in every aspect of our lives. This way darkness will have no dwelling place in our lives.

1 Thessalonians 5:5 (New Living Translation)
For you are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night.

2 Corinthians 4:6 (New Living Translation)
For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

I look forward to great testimonies this month as always!
