REPORT – LIFELINE EDUCATION OUTREACH – MINNA

Christ Lifeline Ministry held an impactful educational outreach at Better Treasure International School, Gbeganu, Minna, on the 25th of June, 2025. The program was designed to educate, inspire, and guide students on crucial life issues such as mental health, drug abuse, sex education, and the value of diligence and hard work. The event featured a mix of lectures, pep talks, interactive sessions, and gift distribution.
Program Highlights
- Opening Prayer:
The program commenced with a word of prayer, committing the event and all participants into God’s hands. - Introduction – Who Are We?
Sis. Yemisi Ogunmileye introduced Christ Lifeline Ministry to the students and staff, sharing the vision and mission of the ministry, which focuses on spiritual growth, life transformation, and community impact. - Lecture 1 – Mental Health and Drug Abuse:
Mrs. Mary Lanko from the Federal Ministry of Education delivered a powerful lecture on mental health awareness and the dangers of drug abuse. She emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy mind and making wise choices to avoid addiction and its consequences. - Pep Talk on Diligence:
A motivational pep talk was given by Victor, a volunteer with the ministry, who encouraged the students to be diligent in their studies and personal responsibilities, highlighting that consistent effort leads to lasting success. - Pep Talk on Sex Education:
Mrs. Bukola Adetayo, the wife of one of our ministry partners, sensitively addressed the topic of sex education. She guided the students on making informed and godly choices concerning their sexuality, promoting purity, respect for self and others, and the consequences of sexual misconduct. - Question Time:
An interactive Q&A session followed, where students were given the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarity on the topics discussed. This session revealed the eagerness of the students to learn and their openness to engage on sensitive topics. - Pep Talk on Hard Work:
A representative of FCS TS (volunteer) delivered a short and impactful talk on the value of hard work. The students were encouraged to be intentional and consistent in their efforts, knowing that success is a product of persistence and discipline. - Sharing of Gifts:
Gifts were distributed to the students as a token of love from Christ Lifeline Ministry. The gesture was received with great excitement and appreciation, leaving a lasting impression on the students. - Vote of Thanks:
Mr. Taiwo Adetayo gave a heartfelt vote of thanks, appreciating the school management, ministry volunteers, guest speakers, and students for their participation and cooperation.
Conclusion
The outreach was a resounding success, as it provided an opportunity to touch lives beyond the church walls and offer practical knowledge alongside spiritual values. The school management expressed deep appreciation for the initiative and encouraged more of such programs in the future.
