Live Forgiven. Live Loving: CLM New Month Message October 2025

Luke 7:36–50 offers a deeply moving account of a woman, known for her sinful past, who pours out her most precious possession—an alabaster jar of costly perfume—at the feet of Jesus. With her tears and hair, she washes and anoints Him in an act of pure devotion, despite the judgmental stares of the Pharisees around her.

In verse 47, Jesus delivers the heart of the message:

“I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But the one who is forgiven little loves little.”

This moment reveals that the depth of our love for God is directly connected to how deeply we grasp His forgiveness.

Our human reality is not any different from that of the immoral woman in Luke 7:36–50. We were all dead in our sins and trespasses. However, God forgave us, paying the price with His precious blood, gave us His eternal life, and a heavenly citizenship (Ephesians 2:1–10; Philippians 3:20). So much has been forgiven.

My charge for this new month is simple: Live forgiven. Live loving.
We cannot live our best lives without understanding the depth of the forgiveness we have received from God. The forgiveness of God distinguishes us as unique heavenly citizens—driven to love!

Live forgiven. Live loving.
Live caring. Live confident.
Live hopeful. Live joyful.
Live merciful. Live holy.
Live godly. Live a full life.

2 Corinthians 5:14–15 (NLT)

14 Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.
15 He died for everyone so that those who receive His new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them.

Let the love and forgiveness of Christ shape how you live this month—and every day after.

I look forward to a new month full of testimonies!!
