Jehovah has the final say!

Recently, an elated friend called me to celebrate his court victory. My friend was particular about the Judge’s authority and how the Judge’s decision making was in his favour, despite the perceived odds he faced. 

The Judge’s authority particularly drew my attention as I thought of writing this article. The Judge had the final say! The efficacy of the decisions in any court of law is premised on the competence of the presiding Judge and the infallibility of the judicial proceedings.

Just as the Judge has the final authority in the court of law, Jehovah has the final authority in the issues of life. Jehovah has the final say! The authority of God is premised on His competence and the infallibility of His character. ” He alone can never die, and he lives in light so brilliant that no human can approach him. No human eye has ever seen him, nor ever will. All honor and power to him forever! Amen.” (1 Timothy 6:16-NLT).

Jehovah who has the final say, is also our Advocate in the affairs of this world. This is the  confidence we should approach this month with. Please let’s allow God’s final authority to permeate through our thoughts, our actions and our results. Victory is Ours!

“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”  (Romans 8:31-NLT).
