Hold Steady. God never goes on vacation.

Living in a world currently pummeled with incessant jarring news headlines. There is a high tendency for us to live on the defensive and be reactive as we allow hysteria build a home in our hearts.

We live in the midst of the discomfiting pangs of an unabated pandemic, growing inflation, heightened insecurities and the “little” Russia-Ukraine war, etc and we wander what’s next on the menu.

My dear friends and family, I have a whisper for us- Hold Steady. God never goes on vacation.

Psalm 91:7-10

New Living Translation

7 Though a thousand fall at your side,

    though ten thousand are dying around you,

    these evils will not touch you.

8 Just open your eyes,

    and see how the wicked are punished.

9 If you make the Lord your refuge,

    if you make the Most High your shelter,

10 no evil will conquer you;

    no plague will come near your home.
