God’s Best Choice: CLM New Month Message April 2026

Award ceremonies are designed to recognize the best acts in different endeavors of life. Every award recipient is identified as the best choice, those worthy of recognition and celebration.

In a similar way, God publicly affirms Jesus at His baptism through John, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17).

Gloriously, this affirmation is not reserved for Christ alone. Through faith in Him, we are brought into that same relationship, for God “predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will” (Ephesians 1:5).

This means our acceptance is not based on our perfection or performance, but on God’s will and pleasure. In Christ, we are chosen, accepted, and delighted in.

We are God’s best choice, not because we earned it, but because He lovingly willed it.

As we step into this new month, let this truth shape our perspective.
God delights in us. He celebrates us. He is committed to our growth and rejoices in our progress.

He is not reluctantly watching us, He is joyfully invested in us.

It is His pleasure to see us walk in holiness, excellence, love, generosity, and victory. This is the life that flows from who we are in Him.

We are God’s best choice.

“God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”
