Christ Lifeline Hosts Another Impactful Orphanage Outreach at Bethany Home, Minna
Today, Christ Lifeline Ministry Partners and Volunteers in Minna, Niger State, had the privilege of visiting Bethany Home as part of our ongoing orphanage outreach efforts.
The team of Partners, led by Pastor Femi Adetayo, gathered at 10:00 am and proceeded to the home, where they were warmly welcomed by the head caregiver, Mummy in charge. The session began with an opening prayer, followed by a refreshing time of praise led by the children, expressing gratitude to God.
Pastor Femi Adetayo introduced Christ Lifeline Ministry, sharing its vision and mission to extend the lifeline of Christ’s love to communities in need. He spoke to the children on the love of God, referencing John 3:16, and encouraged them to remain true representatives of Christ while being obedient and diligent in their home.
Mrs. Bummi Adetayo also spoke to the children about the importance of academic excellence and nurturing a personal relationship with God to find guidance in life. She further encouraged them to be respectful to their caregivers and teachers.
The children then participated in a Bible passage session, allowing them to engage with the Word of God while bonding with the partners. Sister Funmi Oyeniran led a heartfelt prayer session, where the children prayed for themselves, their home, caregivers, partners, and Christ Lifeline Ministry.
The visit ended with a Benediction pronounced by Pastor Adetayo, wrapping up a successful and spirit-filled outreach.
During the visit, the team noted some pressing challenges that the home continues to face:
- The building has remained unrenovated since a fire some years ago, leaving several parts weak and collapsed.
- There is a significant need for new beds and additional hands to assist in the daily care of the children.
Christ Lifeline Ministry continues to stand in the gap, reaching out to communities in need and sharing the love of Christ through both spiritual and material support. The visit to Bethany Home was a reflection of the ministry’s ongoing commitment to extending lifelines of Christ’s love to the world.
Together, we can make a difference in these children’s lives.
