All seasons, the same God

Immediately after year-end festivities, reality sets in. Boom, the new year is in our faces, and our expectations are numerous, but the pomp of the holiday season is now history. A new season beckons, but the same unchanging God remains (Malachi 3:6a).

We could wish every season was like the Christmas holiday season. But no, seasons change. There is a time and a season for everything in life (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Despite the changes in seasons, I am glad that we have an unchanging God. We have a God who does not conform to the limits of this world. We have a God who lives outside time but is the author of our contrastraints to time. We have a God who owns all the seasons and is sovereign in his reign. All seasons, the same God.

For all seasons in 2025, I want us to trust Him for the miraculous. I want us to trust him to live righteously irrespective of the circumstances. I want us to trust him to be creative, excellent, prosperous, and loving.

Happy 2025. It is a year to enjoy the God of all seasons. I look forward to a testimony filled year.
