Nothing Can Separate Us from His Love

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:38–39

Reflection

Nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God revealed in Christ Jesus. Not trouble, hardship, uncertainty, life, death, or any power can overcome the love with which God has embraced us in Christ. God's love is not dependent on changing circumstances. Even when we cannot understand what is happening around us, we can remain confident in His unfailing love.

Declaration

I am firmly rooted in the love of God through Christ Jesus. Nothing in creation can separate me from His love. I will not be overcome by fear, hardship, or uncertainty, because I am held by a love that never fails. My confidence is in Christ, now and forever.
