A Resounding Success: First Bible Study Workshop in Collaboration with YOWICAN, Sagamu Local Government Area, Ogun State.

In a remarkable step toward equipping young believers with deeper biblical understanding and practical life application, Christ Lifeline Ministry, in collaboration with the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Sagamu Local Government Area, Ogun State, successfully held the First Bible Study Workshop on 23 August, 2025.

The workshop brought together youths, leaders, and believers across Sagamu and its environs in an atmosphere of learning, fellowship, and spiritual growth. With the theme “What is Salvation?”, the program was designed to strengthen participants’ knowledge of the Word of God and empower them to live out their faith with boldness in their schools, communities, and workplaces.

Highlights of the Workshop

  • Spirit-filled Teaching Sessions: Seasoned facilitators delivered impactful teachings on Salvation.
  • Interactive Breakout Sessions: Participants were grouped into smaller sessions where they shared insights, asked questions, and made a presentation based on their discussions & the teachings.
  • Engagement with Christian Youth Leaders: The workshop created a platform for dialogue between Christian youth leaders and participants, strengthening bonds of unity and cooperation among local churches.
  • Prayers & Worship: The gathering was also marked by passionate prayers and heartfelt worship, creating an atmosphere of revival and fresh hunger for God’s Word.
  • Presentation of Certificates: To recognize and encourage participation, certificates of attendance were presented to all participants. This gesture not only acknowledged their commitment to learning but also served as a reminder to continue growing in the knowledge of the Scriptures.

Impact & Feedback

Many participants testified that the workshop deepened their love for the Scriptures and gave them practical tools to apply biblical principles in their daily lives. Youth leaders also expressed gratitude for the collaboration, emphasizing that the initiative is timely and essential for raising a new generation of believers who are rooted in the Word.

Looking Ahead

The success of this maiden edition has opened the door for subsequent workshops across Ogun State and beyond, reaching even more youths and fostering stronger interdenominational cooperation.

As the Scriptures remind us in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” This workshop is indeed a step in the right direction toward building a generation of Word-based disciples.
