Captain Of The Seas – June 2024 Lifeline

It is always fascinating to observe the calmness of the sea at its shores. Very soothing. However, the seas which are great in vastness, unfathomable in depth, and a habitat to a horde of living species, has a captain who knows its size, reach and knows each of its species in detail. However tempestuous and stormy the seas could sometimes be, it has a captain who could walk on it and order the seas to be calm.

Matthew 8:27 (NLT)

The disciples were amazed. “Who is this man?” they asked. “Even the winds and waves obey him!”

Romans 11:36 (NLT)

For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.

The captain of the seas is the master who resides in us. God, our father, the Lord of heaven, and the earth is one with us. God is at work in us to lead us continually in victory.

1 John 4:4 (NLT)

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

As we set out this month, I want us to know that the captain of the seas lives in us, and we should continually thrive in His excellence and glorious victory.

2 Corinthians 4:6 (NLT)

For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.
